By installing and using Tab Keeper you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
Tab Keeper is a browser extension that saves your open tabs into a shelf with versioned local backups, verified after every write, plus import and export tools. The free plan works entirely in your browser. The paid Pro plan adds Cloud Backup: your snapshots are automatically replicated to our server so you can restore them on any computer.
Backups & no guarantee of preservation
We build Tab Keeper to make data loss as unlikely as we can — that is the product. Still, no software can guarantee your data against every failure, including failures of your browser, your machine, or our infrastructure. Keep exports of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost tab data.
Subscriptions & billing
Pro is a subscription billed by Stripe at the listed price (yearly or monthly). It renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period. After cancellation, cloud snapshots stop uploading; your already-stored backups remain available for download until you delete them or close your account. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
Use Tab Keeper to manage your own tabs. Do not use Cloud Backup to store content that is unlawful or that you have no right to store, and do not abuse or disrupt the service (for example, using the backup API as general-purpose file hosting).
Your data
Your saved tabs are yours. We claim no rights over them beyond what is needed to store and return them to you. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and when it is deleted.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tab Keeper is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us in the prior three months.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
